Hi,
We are looking for somebody to take over from Mike and to run the GSL.
We have an arrangement with Riley's to play group matches from there at a heavily reduced cost so would be looking at going back to 4 groups of 5/6/7 players etc depending on entry numbers and playing one round of matches, back to best of 6 frames but with fixtures to be played in order of schedule, which will be set up as normal by Craig on League Republic. 4 seeds will be placed in each group as per the rankings at the closing date for entries.
Responsibilities would be to collect the entries and cash, do the group draws (template already in place for seed placement) put some deadlines up for Last 16 onwards and be around to oversee things/ organise a referee for the Final at a date chosen in conjunction with Mark at Riley's.
I will of course be around to assist for most of this but unlikely to be here on the day of the Final.
Anyone able to help let me know on here or by text etc. This is a fantastic competition and has added sponsorship from Riley's this season therefore we cannot afford to lose it from the calendar.
